Jada Pinkett Smith has slammed the Golden Globes for snubbing her Girls Trip co-star Tiffany Haddish. 

The singer shared her thoughts on Twitter on Tuesday to credit the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (the cabinet obliged for selecting which films get nominated) of refusing to screen Girls Trip for awards care and for not nominating Tiffany in the Best Supporting Actress category.

The 46-year-old tweeted about it on Monday before selecting to curb herself until she carried on Tuesday.

Obviously unable to hold back she said: ‘I have so much to contend on because @TiffanyHaddish was not nominated for a Globe… but we won’t.’

Letting it all out today, she unleashed a lengthy thread for all her supporters to read.

‘I’m not dissapoint about @TiffanyHaddish or @GirlsTripMovie not getting a nom… I’m disheartened about the fact that the Hollywood Foreign Press/@goldenglobes wouldn’t even WATCH the movie,’ she tweeted.

Calling Haddish the ‘funniest person on screen in 2017,’ Pinkett Smith called out the HFPA for clearly ignoring the film’s box bureau success and vicious acclaim.

She said: ‘Girls Trip was one of the many successful films this summer Tiff was hands down the funniest person on screen in 2017 and we couldn’t get eyes on the film or a press conference.’

In the next few mins she tweeted: ‘How could a nom start how much some-more vicious commend must a film have to simply get a screening?’

In her statement, the mum-of-two, who is married to actor Will Smith, noted that despite the skip of recognition given to the film, Haddish was asked to benefaction at the awards ceremony.

Girls Trip crushed the Box Office in full force as Jade, Tiffany and their co-stars Queen Latifah and Regina Hall done assembly members giggle in cinemas. In the U.S the hit comedy grossed a whopping $115 million (£86 million) this summer.

Jada, who has oral out about secular issues in Hollywood in the past generally during the #OscarSoWhite movement, pronounced that she believes the impugn had to do with the all-black ensemble.

‘Hollywood has systems in place that must learn to enhance its concepts of race, gender equivalence and inclusion in courtesy to its perceptions of art opposite the board,’ she tweeted.
