Arctic Monkeys have announced their first debate date of 2018, imprinting the starting rumbles of their rarely expected sixth album.

The rope have teased their return ever given being spotted in Sheffield back in 2016, but now it seems Alex Turner, Matt Helders, Jamie Cook and Nick O’Malley are strictly prepared to hurl out the hype wagons.

The rope have been reliable to title Firefly Festival in The Woodlands, Delaware from Jun 14-17, alongside Eminem, The Killers and Kendrick Lamar.

Lil Wayne, MGMT, Royal Blood and Foster The People will also play the festival, which will be Firefly’s seventh year running.

It marks only the commencement of what’s set to be a outrageous year, with their last manuscript AM in 2013 being arguably their biggest success yet, including singles R U Mine? and Do we Wanna Know?

News of their return has spawned a call of fad for some-more debate dates to come, kicking off 2018 on a flattering pretentious note.

And now, the almighty wait begins.

We’ll get by this. Together.

If you’re struggling to tide over your obsession, try Strictly veteran Anton Du Beke’s ballroom cover of we Bet That You Look Good On The Dancefloor for those waste nights.

Sorry in advance.
