Detective drama Shetland earnings to BBC One with its fourth series tonight.

Thomas Malone has his murder self-assurance overturned after 23 years – 23 years that he’s spent behind bars.

But that, in turn, means DI Jimmy Perez (Douglas Henshal) must free the review into the murder of internal teen Lizzie Kilmuir, who was killed in 1994.

Soon, Perez, Duncan and Cassie are all reunited in Shetland when Cassie surprises them by drifting back.

When does the new series air?

Shetland earnings with series 4 tonight (Tuesday 13 February) on BBC1 at 9pm.

Where is it filmed?

Shetland, which started in 2013, is set in the Scottish Shetland islands. However, while it is also filmed on the Scottish archipelago, many of the filming is finished on the mainland.

The fourth deteriorate also filmed Glasgow and Norway.
