PASHA Kovalev is one of Strictly Come Dancing’s many renouned veteran dancers – but went out early in the 2017 series along with partner Chizzy Akudolu.

Who is Pasha Kovalev, how old is he and what is his background?

Pasha Kovalev is a 37-year-old veteran dancer famous for his work on Strictly Come Dancing.

Born in Siberia, Pasha began dancing at the age of eight and competed in the US series So You Think You Can Danc.

Pasha changed to the UK in 2011 to take partial in his first series of Strictly Come Dancing, where he competed with Chelsee Healey.

In series eleven, Pasha competed with Countdown black Rachel Riley – and shortly after the show Riley separate from her husband.

A few months later, Rachel and Pasha announced they’d started a attribute and sojourn together to this day.

When is Strictly Come Dancing 2017 on and who are the judges?

Strictly Come Dancing launched on Sep 9 on BBC One, with the live shows kicking off on Sep 23.

Strictly always front on BBC One in two parts. The categorical show is on Saturday routinely around 7pm and the results show front on Sunday at a identical time.
