A earthy preparation teacher has been arrested for choking several children with a burst rope, police said.
Peter Samhammer, 64, was heading a category at the Herndon Barstow Elementary School in California when he placed the burst wire around his students’ necks and tightened it briefly, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.
The burst wire left red marks on his students, who are between the ages of 9 and 11, the sheriff’s bureau said.
Samhammer was taken into control on 4 transgression depends of child abuse.
The 64-year-old has been placed on executive leave, and the Central Unified School District released a matter that read, “Student reserve is a top priority for the district and as such, we are entirely auxiliary with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office and will continue to do so via the march of its investigation.”
Samhammer has formerly worked as a wrestling manager with the Clovis Unified School District, but is not now an employee there.
