Rapper Meek Mill took a understanding Wednesday to dump charges stemming from a mud bike wheelie attempt in Inwood that was uploaded to Instagram.
The 30-year-old “We Ball” performer, whose genuine name is Robert Rihmeek Williams, was charged with forward endangerment and forward pushing in the 10th Ave. and Dyckman St. occurrence on Aug. 17.
Mill’s case will be discharged after 6 months of good function under the understanding he struck with prosecutors in Manhattan Criminal Court.
He must also finish 30 hours of village service but he has already finished about a third of the time, prosecutors said.
“He clearly was singled out since he’s a rapper, he’s a celebrity,” his lawyer, Joe Tacopina said.
“He’s a immature African-American who has been very successful in this attention and maybe members of law coercion don’t like it but he should still be treated like anyone else.”
