Shooting nearby Calif. post bureau leaves two dead

A sharpened nearby a California post bureau left two people dead, and a think is in control Monday, authorities said.

Officials told KPIX-TV that two people had died in the sharpened nearby the Clearlake Oaks Post Office. Lake County Sheriff Brian Martin reliable a think was in control Monday, according to the station. 

The think has been identified as 61-year-old Alan Ashmore. Two some-more victims had suffered non-life melancholy injuries, according to KABC-TV.

A California Highway Patrol officer suffered a gunshot wound to the leg after exchanging gunfire with Ashmore, KABC reported. The officer is approaching to recover.
