Toddler overdoses for second time in 3 months

A toddler in the caring of a Florida lady overdosed on pills for the second time in 3 months on Thursday, authorities say.

Jeanette Homan was hit with a perjury charge in further to child slight after primarily fibbing to police about what happened this week in the North Palm Beach area, according to the Palm Beach Post.

Homan, 43, creatively claimed that someone had forsaken pain-relieving pills, but after suggested she was the one who forsaken them, according to Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office annals obtained by the newspaper.

She claimed in a 911 call that someone else threw a bottle of the tranquil piece buprenorphine, and told the user that the 19-month-old child competence be overdosing, according to the newspaper.

Narcan was after used to revitalise the child, who was hospitalized.

The attribute between the lady and the toddler was redacted from the police report obtained by the Palm Beach Post.

She told staff she forsaken the pills during the night, and that the child took them at about 8 a.m., according to the newspaper. The toddler was taken to a hospital 3 hours later.

Homan is being held in jail, and the Florida Department of Children and Families is looking into the incident.
