One of Georgia’s top cops was destitute after exposing himself at an Atlanta park on Saturday night, according to internal reports Sunday.
Police pronounced DeKalb County Sheriff Jeffrey Mann bolted when confronted by a bike cop in Piedmont Park, according to an occurrence report obtained by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Mann allegedly unprotected his genitals while walking toward an officer, not realizing he was hiding behind a tree.
As Mann approached, the officer shined his peep light at the astounded cop and identified himself as a member of law enforcement, police said.
Mann fled, using into approaching traffic south of the vast park along 10th St. He stopped to tie his boots and took off again as the officer held up, according to the report. He shortly gave up and was cuffed.
While in custody, the policeman asked to fetch his marker from his automobile and for the impediment officer to hit his supervisor.
Mann now faces charges of open obscenity and obstruction.
The officer who filed the report described Piedmont Park as a hotspot for “sexual acts after dark” and alleges he found a condom accumulate in Mann’s pocket.
Mann, who oversees law coercion in the state’s fourth largest county, pronounced he intends to transparent his name, according to WSB-TV.
