MOULTON, Ala. — A special-needs academician had a one-of-a-kind dance date when an NFL member returned to his home county in Alabama to take her to a dance.
Don Jones is a 27-year-old defensive again for a San Francisco 49ers who’s from Lawrence County. He tells WBRC-TV it was a “blessing” to go to a dance Friday dusk with 18-year-old Lindsey Preston, who has Down syndrome.
Jones is a domicile pal. His mom taught Preston in facile faculty.
Preston’s mother, Kristi Martin, tells The Related Press that Jones danced with all a scholars and “made all people unequivocally feel particular.”
Jones achieved during Arkansas State progressing than going professional. He has achieved for a Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans.
