Kristaps Porzingis, who returned to the lineup after blank two games with a refractory ankle this week, appears back at full strength both on and off the court.
TMZ held up with the 22-year-old Latvian prodigy out on the city after he logged 34 mins and forsaken 18 points on the Grizzlies Wednesday. Porzingis was clearly gentle outward the Marquee nightclub on 10th Ave. with a womanlike crony on his arm and hordes of adoring fans giving him high-fives.
While the Knicks’ star has some work to do before he’s counted among the likes of New York’s hardest merrymaking athletes, it appears he is already a loyal man of the people. The big man’s social life may not nonetheless be on standard with nightlife legends like Derek Jeter, Joe Namath and Mickey Mantle, but just like those nightly All-Stars, Porzingas is clearly aristocrat of the hill, top of the heap.
And while some athletes may try to equivocate the limelight and can be aloof with fans on the street, generally outward a nightclub, the second-year Porzingis is clearly enjoying his celebrity.
