Dumbledore keeps getting younger and younger.
A casting call for the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” supplement posted on Pottermore calls for actors between 16 and 18 to play teenaged versions of Gellert Grindelwald and Dumbledore himself.
Warner Bros. Studio is also looking for 3 actors between 13 and 16 for immature versions of Newt Scamander, Leta Lestrange and an different impression named Sebastian.
All field have to be authorised to work in the United Kingdowm between Aug and November.
Author J.K. Rowling had already suggested that the film would underline younger versions of these characters, but it now appears that there will be at slightest two sets of flashbacks.
Jude Law has already been expel as the adult chronicle of the future Hogwarts headmaster, joining Johnny Depp as the older Grindelwald, Eddie Redmayne, Dan Fogler, Zoe Kravitz, Katherine Waterston and Alison Sudol.
“You will see Dumbledore as a younger man and utterly a uneasy man,” Rowling pronounced recently. “We’ll see him at that infirm duration of his life.”
The age boundary for immature Grindelwald and Dumbledore coincide with their initial meeting, just after the former was kicked out of Durmstrang.
The supplement will hit theaters Nov. 16, 2018.
