Lena Dunham is “proud” of Taylor Swift after the cocktail star took the mount to attest against the ex-DJ she claims groped her.
Dunham, a long-time crony of the “Red” singer, applauded Swift hours after her Thursday courtroom address, during which she regularly asserted that former on-air celebrity David Mueller reached underneath her dress and grabbed her unclothed backside during a 2013 meet-and-greet.
“Proud of @taylorswift13 for her extreme slicing testimony her refusal to settle for being treated like property,” Dunham tweeted early Friday morning. “Her instance is powerful.”
Swift’s testimony in a Denver courtroom occurred on the fourth day of the trial, and noted the first time she’s taken the mount during the ongoing case.

She testified that she had no doubt Mueller had groped her during a photo event before the singer’s unison at Denver’s Pepsi Center 4 years ago.
“He stayed latched onto my unclothed a– impertinence as we lurched divided from him,” Swift, 27, told the jury.
Mueller, meanwhile, has confirmed his innocence, testifying on Tuesday that he may have contacted the singer’s ribs or rib cage, but claiming he did not hold her inappropriately.
“It’s a degrading knowledge to be accused of something that despicable,” Mueller told the court.

The 2013 photo that Swift took with Mueller emerged online and shows his palm reaching behind her backside, yet it’s misleading if he done hit with her body.
Mueller was fired from his pursuit as an on-air celebrity for the Denver radio hire KYGO shortly after Swift’s allegations against him surfaced. He sued her in 2015 and is seeking $3 million damages.
Swift after countersued, alleging passionate assault, and is only seeking $1.
