It seems that Iain Lee hasn’t got that many regrets given leaving the ‘horrendous and amazing’ I’m A Celebrity jungle at the finish of last year.

Viewers will remember how the former 11 O’Clock show horde struggled by the heated reality competition, which sees a organisation of celebs forsaken into the Australian jungle to deflect for themselves divided from the oppulance of their luminary lifestyles.

Fans will also remember THAT strawberry-based incident: the ‘scandal’ in which Iain and Amir Khan lied to their campmates about losing a task, so they could feast on their esteem – a punnet of strawberries and cream – all to themselves.

Iain seemed on Sunday Brunch this week where he filled in hosts Simon Rimmer and Tim Lovejoy about how life had changed for him post-I’m A Celeb.

‘It was horrible and extraordinary and zero in between,’ Iain told the show with a smile, much some-more loose in feeling – a universe divided from the pressures of the jungle camp.

He went on to pronounce about how life changed for him given leaving the ITV show – and how it spurned on his return to TV work, some 15 years after he assimilated pronounce radio.

‘Things have been amazing. we consider myself to be a expert of reality TV and we have always desired live TV,’ he said, as he hinted at a ramp up in TV offers given he left the jungle.

‘It’s been crazy. we found myself on Loose Women – we adore that show – and we had to slip down a funnel and flow cream all over Joey Essex’s head.

‘This is my life now!’

Conversation quickly incited to Strawberrygate, where Iain revealed he isn’t worried about his betrayal.

‘Me and Amir were articulate for about 40 mins about either to eat the strawberries. And he kept goading me observant “Are you sure? Are you sure?”‘ Iain said.

‘I didn’t design utterly the fallout that we perceived from it. People didn’t pronounce to me for like 4 days.’

But, when Tim asked Iain about his regrets and what he had schooled from the incident, the impertinent presenter said: ‘My recommendation is if you can steal strawberries off your friends then do it.’

And it seems some fans of Sunday Brunch are still not forgiving of Iain and Amir’s betrayal.

‘@iainlee we voted to keep you in @imacelebrity since you apparently wanted to get out not since we suspicion you popular/funny,’ wrote one discontented viewer.

‘Iain Lee is so fake their was a reason he didn’t get TV work for 15 years  he apparently hasn’t worked it out nonetheless (sic),’ wrote another user.

Going one step further, another Twitter user said: ‘Iain Lee what a finish twat.’

Sunday Brunch earnings on Sunday at 9.30am on Channel 4.
