A new study expelled on Monday says calorie depends on menus have been effective in consumers making reduce calorie count choices and retailers augmenting their reduce calorie options.

The study, published in the Journal of Retailing, showed that displaying calorie information has led to a rebate of 27 calories per dish for consumers. It also led to a 15 calorie diminution for altogether menu items.
