“I’m gonna tell my kids this is a Original Chicken Sandwich,” a twitter read, along with a design of a Popeyes Chicken Sandwich. (“Home of a Original Chicken Sandwich” is Chick-fil-A’s tagline.)
Popeyes put adult a post Thursday, and fast perceived comments from those applauding a brand’s burning tweet.

However, many others were not as tender with a joke, and took a moment to call out Popeyes for issues with quality control, or the stupidity that a famous sandwich has sparked.
