Debenhams to mattock 320 jobs after bad Christmas trading

DEBENHAMS is to mattock around 320 jobs as partial of a £10million cost-cutting plan.

The store is the latest in a line of high street names that have announced reorganization to stores since of formidable trading.

Morrisons, Tesco, and Sainsbury’s have all pronounced recently they are making unconditional changes to their staff numbers in sequence to cut costs – with thousands of posts axed.

Last week Morrisons pronounced it is formulation on slicing 1,500 shop building roles, with Tesco axing 1,700 and Sainsbury’s also holding identical steps.
