West Baltimore — Anthony Clark Jr. was convicted of second grade murder, attempted second grade murder, and two depends of using a handgun in the elect of a crime of violence. Assistant State’s Attorney Kurt Bjorklund prosecuted the case.
On Jun 11, 2016 at approximately 1:30 a.m., Baltimore Homicide detectives were told that unit units were on the stage of a sharpened in the 900 retard of Pennsylvania Avenue.
Upon arrival, the detectives were suggested that the unintended aim and victim, 13-year-old Diandre Barnes, was found fibbing on the belligerent pang from mixed gunshot wounds. A second sharpened victim was also at the scene. Barnes was after conspicuous passed at Maryland Shock Trauma.
Witnesses after identified Clark Jr. as the shooter. At the time of his arrest, Clark was tentative apart attempted first grade murder, armed robbery, and fourth grade thievery charges.
“This suspect apparently has a gusto for assault and does not merit to live openly among the rest of us,” pronounced State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby. “Fortunately, this self-assurance means there is one fewer aroused repeat delinquent terrorizing Baltimore.”
Clark is confronting 100 years at sentencing on Apr 9, 2018. That judgment can be run uninterrupted to the 15-year judgment he is now portion from a prior hearing regarding to this case that resulted in a prejudiced verdict.
