Vinny Asaro slated to enter guilty defence in Queens arson case

Vinny Asaro, the “Goodfellas” mafiosi who kick a case on the barbarous 1978 Lufthansa heist, is scheduled to enter a guilty defence next week in an arson case desirous by a highway fury incident, the Daily News has learned.

Brooklyn sovereign justice schedules for a Tuesday show the 82-year-old Bonanno capo is slated to enter the defence — along with John J. Gotti, grandson of the late Gambino boss John Gotti, and Matthew “Fat Matt” Rullan.

Brooklyn sovereign prosecutors hit the men with arson and arson swindling charges, but it was not immediately transparent Friday what offenses the contingent would be copping to.

Prosecutors have formerly pronounced Asaro became barbarous when a motorist cut into his line at a Queens traffic light in Apr 2012. Asaro chased the motorist and then systematic the automobile get destroyed as payback for the sparse incident.

Earlier Friday, Asaro’s attorney, Elizabeth Macedonio, told The News “we are in active defence negotiations. Whether those come to fruition, we’ll find out shortly.”

Macedonio wouldn’t put a specific time support on how prolonged it’d take to know the outcome.

Macedonio represented Asaro during his 2015 hearing exculpation on the $6 million spoliation decorated in the host classical “Goodfellas.”

A counsel for Gotti couldn’t be reached for comment. Rullan’s counsel declined to comment. A Brooklyn U.S. Attorney orator declined comment.
