Trump has not tweeted about Team USA in Olympics

 President Donald Trump has a twitter for just about everything, but he’s got zero so distant for Team USA a few days into the 2018 Olympic Games.

Since the foe began on Friday, Trump has tweeted about the large bill understanding he sealed into law, his enterprise to have some-more Republican legislators in Congress and offering condolences for two Ohio police officers who were killed in the line of duty. He tweeted about jobless claims dropping, his decision to retard recover of a Democratic memo on the Russia review and the rain of a top help accused of domestic abuse.

Missing from the series? Any discuss of Team USA or difference of support for the athletes competing in the games that non-stop Friday in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Mr. Trump did send a span of tweets last week complimenting the horde country for the games.

“Best wishes to the Republic of Korea on hosting the @Olympics! What a smashing event to show everybody that you are a truly GREAT NATION!” he tweeted last Wednesday, two days before the opening ceremony. He followed up with: “Congratulations to the Republic of Korea on what will be a MAGNIFICENT Winter Olympics! What the South Korean people have built is truly an inspiration!”

The United States had won 6 medals as of Tuesday, including bullion in men’s and women’s slopestyle snowboarding and women’s halfpipe.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Monday congratulated the U.S. Olympic group on a “great start.”

“We generally demeanour brazen to snowboarders Jamie Anderson and Red Gerard bringing their bullion medals back home with them very soon,” she said.

Vice President Mike Pence returned to Washington late Saturday after heading the U.S. commission to Friday’s opening ceremony. Mr. Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, who serves in the White House as an delinquent confidant to her father, will lead a commission to the shutting ceremony.
