Trump is now such an out of control disaster that it was too much for White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders to handle. Trump’s Chief of Staff John Kelly tried to put out the fire on his own.
Kelly began by observant that he is not going to be fired today, “I would just offer to you that nonetheless we review it all the time flattering consistently, I’m not quitting today. we don’t trust — and we just talked to the President — we don’t consider I’m being fired today. And I’m not so undone in this pursuit that I’m meditative of leaving. we will tell you, this is the hardest pursuit I’ve ever had. This is, in my view, the many critical pursuit we ever had. we would offer, though, it is not the best pursuit we ever had. The best pursuit we ever had, as I’ve pronounced many times, is when we was an enlisted Marine sergeant infantryman. That was the best pursuit we ever had. So unless things change, I’m not quitting, I’m not getting fired, and we don’t consider I’ll fire anyone tomorrow.”
If the Trump administration binds loyal to form, on some Friday substantially before or during a holiday weekend, John Kelly will resign
Here is a little bit some-more of how the lecture went (transcript around the White House):
Q General Kelly, if we could, you pronounced you’re not so undone that you’re meditative of leaving. But are you frustrated?
GENERAL KELLY: No, I’m not frustrated. This is really, really tough work using the United States of America. we don’t run it, but I’m operative for someone who is dedicated to portion the country in the way that he’s talked about for a series of years. There are implausible hurdles — you know, mercantile challenges, medical challenges, all of that; apparently general hurdles that have to be dealt with.
I don’t meant any critique to Mr. Trump’s predecessors, but there is an awful lot of things that were, in my view, kicked down the highway that have come home to roost, flattering much right now, that have to be dealt with.
This is hard, tough work, John. And my only frustration, with all due honour to everybody in the room, is when we come to work in the morning and review about things we allegedly said, or things that Mr. Trump allegedly said, or people who are going to be fired, or whatever you all think. And it’s just not true.
In other words, Kelly loves his job, and things are just dandy, so take that large media reports of his misery.
John Kelly was trotted out before the press to broach a matter that he isn’t going to quit since Donald Trump is a crazy man who is pulling him to the brink. According to Kelly, all is wonderful, and he has never suspicion about having to curb Trump from starting a nuclear war.
All you really need to know about the state of the Trump White House is that the Chief of Staff had to do the press lecture in an bid to put an finish to media reports that he is leaving.
People in Puerto Rico are dying, but the White House is using their height to spin the news.
The fractious child cried to the conduct of the adult day caring core at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue had to try to put out the dumpster fire and infer his faithfulness to Donald Trump.
It didn’t work, and only combined to the notice of dysfunction within the White House.
