A YOUTUBE vlogger has expelled a video of himself blazing the new Apple HomePod smart orator with a blow torch.
The orator – which went on sale just last week – costs a seriously large £319, so the clip is a flattering joyless watch.
The footage was filmed by tech vlogger TechRax, who combined the video as a “product test” – nonetheless we’re not accurately certain it proves anything useful.
“I motionless to see how the new Apple HomePod will sound under a blow torch,” he explains.
“I wanna give it a little diagnosis of mine. Simple, to the point.”
In the video, TechRax takes a blow flame to the new speaker, melting divided the side. Once it’s significantly burned, he moves it outward and continues the onslaught.
Surprisingly, the Apple HomePod continues personification music by many of the burning ordeal.
At one point, the HomePod even starts sharpened out jets of smoke to the kick of the music – substantially not an dictated feature, we’d guess.
The torch-wielding vlogger even remarks that it “seems like it got a little louder now”, referring to the increased volume of the melted speaker.
Eventually, the HomePod buckles under the heat, and stops personification due to having its innards melted.
“It stopped personification as shortly as this hole occurred in this HomePod. So once this non-stop up, something inside might’ve burned where the audio just had to stop,” the vlogger explains.
“It does demeanour flattering cold inside,” he added.
The Apple HomePod was first announced in Jun last year, and was creatively scheduled for recover in December.
But it was behind until its contingent recover on Feb 9.
It’s a approach rival to the Amazon Echo and Google Home smart speakers, and lets you ask Siri – a digital partner – for help with daily activities using your voice.
Apple apparently didn’t intend for its orator to be pounded with prohibited abandon however, so we’d really suggest not recreating this video with your own HomePod.
