Floodwaters in northern Arkansas claimed the life of 4-year-old Damien Wiggins over the weekend.

Wiggins and his 18-month-old sister, Krystal, went blank around 3 p.m. Saturday after their mother’s car was swept off a low-water bridge. Authorities contend their mother, who survived, tried to lift her children to reserve but they were pulled into a quick stream after they exited the vehicle.

The 38-year-old lady was found about a mile downstream.

According to KFSM, the hunt switched on Monday from rescue to liberation efforts.

The boy’s death is the seventh reliable death in Arkansas that’s attributed to the weekend serious storms and complicated rainfall.
