SAN FRANCISCO — A Northern California lady was in control Sunday on guess of beating, satirical and choking her 11-year-old daughter in an try to perform an exorcism on the child, authorities said.
Kimberly Felder, 45, nude her daughter exposed and shoved silt into her mouth and into her eyes before a declare tried to stop the attack at a isolated beach in Ferndale, a North Coast city about 115 miles north of San Francisco on Friday, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s bureau said.

One witness, John Marciel, pronounced Felder told him she was trying to mislay demons from her daughter and continued to hit the girl’s conduct with a piece of driftwood while he tried to curb her. He pronounced he stayed on the phone with 911 operators as he tried to combat Felder to the ground. Deputies who arrived to the stage managed to apart Felder from her daughter and place her in handcuffs.
“She questioned me about my faith,” Marciel told The Associated Press on Sunday.
Felder was arrested for review of attempted homicide, conflict with a lethal weapon, child abuse and aggravated mayhem.
The girl was taken to the hospital with mixed injuries, including serious repairs to her right ear. She will be placed in protecting child custody, sheriff’s Sgt. Greg Allen said.
Authorities pronounced if Marciel hadn’t intervened, it was very likely the girl would have been killed by her mother.
Marciel pronounced he motionless to take some out-of-town visitors to the beach before streamer to his son’s high school graduation. He pronounced he was blissful he got there to stop the attack.
“The misfortune thing was when we got the child divided and into the sheriff’s truck, she pronounced people gathering by and nobody stopped,” Marciel said.

He pronounced Felder took a toxicology test to establish either she was under the change of drugs, but the results have not returned yet.
