“My pappy knew we didn’t have a date to my promenade so he matched me!!!” Bell captioned a gratifying photos.

The 17-year-old and her grandfather Alvin Hackett, 67, were all smiles as they acted in their grave best, Fox 35 reports. Bell wore a lovely full-skirted violet, pinkish and blue robe – fiercely accented with a royal garment – while Hackett was clean-cut in a nominal navy-pinstriped fit and pinkish shirt-and-tie combo.

According to Yahoo Lifestyle, Bell wasn’t perplexed when she had difficulty anticipating a date in a weeks forward of a large dance — and cited Hackett as a judicious choice to accompany her.
